2016年9月，寶鋼正式啟動(dòng)1580智能車間改造項(xiàng)目，以期搭建一個(gè)自動(dòng)化、無人化、智慧化的平臺(tái)來實(shí)現(xiàn)產(chǎn)品的生產(chǎn)管理。而這種在主作業(yè)線大刀闊斧開展前沿技術(shù)的改造，對(duì)寶鋼股份而言尚數(shù)首次，非常具有挑戰(zhàn)——第一，智能制造在世界和中國而言，都是領(lǐng)先技術(shù)，大部分的攻堅(jiān)還處于前人研究的實(shí)驗(yàn)室階段，怎樣作為戰(zhàn)略投入應(yīng)用是一大問題；第二，板坯庫無人化項(xiàng)目在全球范圍內(nèi)，只在很少的一些場(chǎng)合在應(yīng)用，大規(guī)模應(yīng)用在中國沒有先例，如何將這個(gè)技術(shù)應(yīng)用到實(shí)際生產(chǎn)過程中是摸著石頭過河；第三，該項(xiàng)目的投運(yùn)需要時(shí)間，需要先開展工作，解決項(xiàng)目的投運(yùn)、管理。

寶鋼股份1580智能車間改造，是我國鋼鐵業(yè)唯一正式入圍國家工信部《2015年智能制造試點(diǎn)示范專項(xiàng)行動(dòng)實(shí)施方案》試點(diǎn)示范的項(xiàng)目。改建后的1580熱軋產(chǎn)線將成為具有國際競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力的熱軋產(chǎn)線，并形成若干智能工廠核心技術(shù)和鋼鐵智能制造實(shí)踐方法體系，為我國鋼鐵工業(yè)的轉(zhuǎn)型升級(jí)提供經(jīng)驗(yàn)，也為寶鋼在鋼鐵業(yè)“冬常態(tài)”下保持業(yè)績(jī)最優(yōu)接續(xù)力量提供動(dòng)力。

寶鋼股份計(jì)劃通過三個(gè)階段來實(shí)現(xiàn)此項(xiàng)目。第一階段，通過智能化車間改造，為1580產(chǎn)線搭建自動(dòng)化、信息化、可視化平臺(tái)，實(shí)現(xiàn)板坯庫管理智能化、行車無人化。為此，寶鋼股份策劃細(xì)分了六大類實(shí)施模塊，分別為智能裝備、智能節(jié)能、智能可視、智能模型、智能診斷、智能物流，每個(gè)模塊下屬若干具體項(xiàng)目。改造完成后，1580產(chǎn)線將實(shí)現(xiàn)能耗到卷、成本到卷、產(chǎn)線綠色運(yùn)行，板坯庫智能庫管及行車無人化運(yùn)行，生產(chǎn)過程全程集中可視、關(guān)鍵設(shè)備狀態(tài)監(jiān)控及預(yù)測(cè)維修。第二階段，進(jìn)一步優(yōu)化幾大模塊的作用，實(shí)現(xiàn)生產(chǎn)過程進(jìn)一步穩(wěn)定，效率進(jìn)一步提升。第三階段，從公司層面上搭建一個(gè)大的平臺(tái)，貫通溝通訂單到生產(chǎn)管理立項(xiàng)，到過程制造，甚至到成品出廠、技術(shù)服務(wù)等，為用戶提供更好的產(chǎn)品。

為順利完成三大改造階段，寶鋼選擇合作伙伴的條件和要求有很多。寶鋼股份熱軋廠廠長(zhǎng)袁文清表示，寶鋼與施耐德電氣的合作是巧合也是命中注定。而寶鋼熱軋廠此前使用施耐德電氣的產(chǎn)品比較少，這次雙方的合作也是一個(gè)互相了解、互相學(xué)習(xí)的過程。
