從2013年開始組建團隊研發(fā)機器人到現(xiàn)在形成量產(chǎn)，天太機器人的發(fā)展有目共睹。
目前，天太機器人已自主研發(fā)設計出六軸工業(yè)機器人、SCARA四軸工業(yè)機器人、并聯(lián)機器人、諧波減速機、RV減速機等。廣泛應用于3C、家電、紡織、家居建材、五金、玩具、禮品、包裝等行業(yè)領域，可滿足組裝、上下料、涂膠、焊接、噴涂、拋光、去毛刺等傳統(tǒng)工序。
因為自主研發(fā)減速機和控制系統(tǒng)，天太機器人花費了很長時間，但是在總經(jīng)理張興華看來，這些都是值得的，也正是因為核心零部件技術的突破，天太機器人得以在成本上占據(jù)優(yōu)勢，生產(chǎn)出讓中小企業(yè)都用得起的機器人。

據(jù)張興華介紹，雖然目前天太生產(chǎn)的機器人在精度上與國外進口品牌還有一定的差距，但是性能上已經(jīng)可以適應中國95%的行業(yè)，而且同類型的產(chǎn)品售價只有進口的一半左右。
事實上，因為自主研發(fā)核心零部件，在減速機上的優(yōu)勢使得天太機器人的產(chǎn)品更輕便也更靈活，特別在有些特定的環(huán)境下和特定的行業(yè)里這種優(yōu)勢就更為明顯。

秉承著自主研發(fā)的精神，張興華透露，下一步天太機器人將注重研發(fā)協(xié)作機器人以及機器人的軟件控制系統(tǒng)，并且考慮與國內(nèi)一些伺服器廠家做深入的合作研發(fā)，使機器人真正實現(xiàn)國產(chǎn)化。
